Built on the site of an old filling station (downstairs performance room where the old fuel tanks used to be). Visited for a late night drink. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, drinks a little on the expensive side compared to other bars in the area. Worth visiting if you’re looking for something a bit different. Watch the glass window at night, it’s hard to see!.

Super cute place , vibey Had a vegan cheeseburger, very solid, definitely recommend to vegetarians and vegans and also meat eaters alike. They got a very nice spicy sauce. Very kind service, gave me a hot glass of milk off the menu just because I asked.

First time visit to the venue. Great choice of hot, cold drinks, including beers. Good selection of snacks too. Music venue is a small venue, intimate but has a great atmosphere.

What a gem of a place. So cool. You can read a book from the library, have a pint, get some food, and catch live music. Great atmosphere. Going to see a gig there shortly.

Went to see a comedy night here. Nice place upstairs, actually lots of tables for the size and a good taste in books on the shelves. Good bar with lots of choice, including 0% options. Event space is downstairs, and it is an excellent size for comedy. Seats 80 people so enough to build an atmosphere but not so many that the queue at the bar is huge in the interval. Chairs could be more comfortable, but the show we saw was over 2.5 hours to be fair. Good sound and lighting, no issues with visibility or sound quality anywhere in the room. Staff were lovely. Really eclectic audience too - there were people about 18 years old up to people about 80 years old in the crowd. There is no on-site parking but plenty on the surrounding streets. I was a bit worried at all the signs warning about people breaking into cars, but we had no trouble and didn't see any sign of it. The place attracts some really good up-and-coming comedians, so check it out.

Great place to sit and have a coffee. Morning brunch has many great options options. In the evening there is a large vegan and vegetarian menu selection. Seems to be the place to be for Uni-students.
